Best set up for metal genre

What would be the best set up to get the best possible sound quality for a metal head such as myself?

Incase you need some sort of idea of what i listen to research the following

BURY TOMORROW
Bullet for my valentine
Bring me the horizon

There just a couple but there probably what i have my windows down for the most with the volume up full around town.

If you are talking about the stock system, I would quit whilst you are ahead. Tried pretty much every setting and the only thing they all had in common were they sounded crap!!

Just waiting for my fascia kit to arrive tomorrow when I will be installing a new pioneer system

The standard speakers are ok but the amp driving them is pants so all you get is treble! So an amp upgrade would be a high priority (new head unit or just amp the original). In the mean time, the cheapest option would be to add some sound deadening to the doors and rear 3/4 panels (mostly around and behind the speakers) to clean up what bass there is. This will give back some punch for your metal needs

Standard speakers are awful as you will see should you replace them
Combine that with a piss poor Hu and you get the standard civic ice set up

I've installed a double din, replaced all speakers and fitted dynomat and I'm very happy with the results

Not exactly cheap but Damm effective

i m agree with silvercider . an amp for front speakers is a minimum .
I like music like metallica, rammstein,.... You need to ear bass and drum very loud
you don't need to keep rear speakers :a subwoofer , front speakers with an amp with high pass filter and put the volume up

I fitted a Pioneer 950BT and makes a hell of a difference to the sound coming through the standard speakers when playing back Opeth, Machine Head, Five Finger Death Punch, etc.

Not really into driving through town with windows down and music blaring though lets too much of the sound out of the car and make's you look a numpty in my opinion.

Perhaps the standard ICE would cope better if you switched to country & western? Or maybe jazz?

To enjoy jazz you require the entire audible spectrum, not just the sparkly highs
