USB port problems

Evening all,

I have just bought a 2010 Si with the USB port in the armrest. The only problem is that I am struggling to get anything into it.
I've tried my ipod cables and a normal USB stick but can't get it to go in.

Has anyone else had this problem or do I just need to line it up perfectly?

Are you using the required adapter?

You need a USB adaptor, for some reason honda made the fitment so you then had to use an adaptor, you can then plug any USB item into the end of said adaptor, they come up for sale from time to time and go from 20 to 30, I think I still have one from my old car

.. and unfortunately some owners (annoyingly) don't leave the adapter in the car when they sell them.

That's pretty ridiculous of Honda! Fortunately I've seen some on eBay for 15ish. Still seems a lot for an adaptor... I suppose it will have to be purchased

Thanks for the offer but I've already bought one off eBay I'm afraid.
