Speaker installation in my FN1

At first, sorry for my english. I'm from Germany near Hannover.

I will try to describe you how I've installed my new speakers in my Type S.
Later I will add the installation of the subwoofer and amplifier in the boot cause the salesman haven't send the package with the sub & amp at the time.

Front system: Hertz Dieci DSK 165 2-way compo
Rear system: Hertz Dieci DCX 165 2-way coax
Subwoofer: Powerbass S-10
2-channel amplifier: µ-dimension 2075
High/Low Adapter: Helix AAC Active Controlled High-Low Converter

Aditionally I've installed 10 plates of bitumen (1,25m&#178. 8 pieces in the doors (1m&#178 and 2 in the rear (0,25m&#178.

furthermore I've needed:

Wood plate for the boot
MDF-plates for the sub-box
fleecemat for the sub-box
Connection terminal for the sub
Foam for the door and rear covering
Speaker cable for the High/Low Adapter
Many screws & nuts
Isolation tubes for the cables (to avoid rattling)
blade terminals/couplers
Heat shrink tube
MDF-adapters for the speaker chassis
paint/varnish to seal the MDF-adapters
Silicon bond for sealing the adapters

Needed tools:

Router
Drill
Hot air dryer
Electric tools...

Now to the pictures:

First impressions of the boot plate und sub case:

Insualtion and installation of the rear speakers:

This was the task for about 3 days

The next pictures will follow when the absence components (sub/cables/amplifier...) arrive...

Greets, Andre

Those rear speaker adaptors are beautiful. My mission for this weekend is to make some the same.

Thanks! Actually, I am looking closer and there is something I don't understand about the speaker adaptors..

The larger outer ring, the circle one.. why is it there? I had in my mind that the inner one, the one that fits to the Honda mounting holes, was smaller than the speaker and that the speaker screwed into the outside ring, but I can see that's not the case.

In the first picture, the inside ring is wider and the outside ring looks thin:

but in the next picture the inside looks thinner and the outside looks wider:

Can you help?

thanks

About speaker adaptors.
I used the soloution in this thread: www.clubhondacivic.com :: Ver tema - tutorial : como encajar nuevos altavoces

No problem at all, speakers fitted perfectly. Just completed the installation of bitumen soundproofing in all 4 doors and installed Infinity ref 6520 (shallow mount) in the front doors and 6522 in the rear doors.
