Standard headunits throught civic's??

Hi all,

My 2nd post here and i'm hoping you can. I have an Axxess ipod controller which I took out of my RX8. I've been told by the manufacturers that there Honda lead will plug into the AUX on the head units in the civic.

Can anyone tell me if on a Type S GT the headunit is the same as all the other civics? I don't ahve Sat nav. Got some pics from the forum of the connectors on the back, which i can email to them to confirm. Don't want to stip my dash just yet if it won't fit.

Sorry, probably didn't make myself clear. I can get another wiring harness for the adaptor to fit a honda. Iw ant to amke sure though the free socket on the back of the headunit will be the same across the whole range? Is it for Cd changer or AUX??

The Honda Headunit doesn't have an AUX in it has a CD chnager port which is what can be conected to via something like a connects2 which the headunit 'sees' as a CD Changer.
