Best DAB to go for with OEM

Evening gents!

Just wondering I got a 55 plate civic, treated myself to a 1.8 for my 25th birthday, radio is all good but I miss DAB radio, I seen a few connect2 kits that you can plug in with the original stereo and can run with the steering wheel controls etc. Just wondering has anyone tried and had luck? Or better to just bite the bullet and go for double din?

Had one of the Autodab units (ordered with a car specific wiring harness) which plugged in between the steering wheel controls and the OEM, it used one of the windscreen mounted aerial to get the DAB signal. For the DAB messages and the like it used the OEM display for the DAB text as a scrolling message. I had no issues with the unit or operation for the year I used it but did eventually change to a double din so I could fit a reversing camera.

I would say not bad a bad solution to getting DAB if you are not going to want a reversing or dash camera fitted in the future.

This was my solution and have to say since we had the retune in march this does work better than the oem set up in the Tourer as internet from my mobile is obviously more stable. As for data usage it is around 10MB per hour.
