Talking Chinesse Din2 and ac interface / patch lead

Hi all!

I want to install a din2 radio for my 8th civic type s and I'm a little bit confused about what I need to get this working:

- The radio itself
- The steering wheel buttons
- The AC/Timer screen

I found this din2 radio that is working to a user in his civic:
A user recommended me this unit since it is working in his civic (same as mine) but he didn't installed the needed cable to make work the ac display:

and I think I also need this cable to enable the ac display:

Connects2-CTSHO002-Honda-Civic-FN-Hatch-06-12-Steering-Stalk-Adaptor-FREE-PATCH (from ebay)

I don't know if I need something more in order to make all working, even if I need some kind of customization on the cables in order to make them work together or if they will just fit easily as plug and play.

Do I need something more or I will be OK with these two items?

Many thanks for the help

Alright mate, you're links aren't working. I think that is because you haven't made enough posts yet... Welcome in anyway.

Yeah! You are right. The first one you can copy it in the browser and will work, the other one is this:
ebay.es/itm/Connects2-CTSHO002-Honda-Civic-FN-Hatch-06-12-Steering-Stalk-Adaptor-FREE-PATCH-/381298306369?hash=item58c7266d41:g:CJQAAOSwJ4hY-hgi

you can copy also this link in the navigation bar of your browser. Sorry for not being able to post the actual link

it's the classic CTSHO002 cable plus the hatch patch (even if I don't know what really is this)

hello. recently installed a double din, in theory the generic connects 2 patch cable should work. as it controls the lcd display regardless. its the steering remote cable that could be finicky, it could be plug and play, if it isnt, its a simple thing of disconnecting one cable and trying one of the other cables that may work.

this is the patch cable i bought. and this is the company i bought it from...

https://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/conn...ic%20connects2

mine was as simple as plugging in the 3.5mm aux cable that controls the steering wheel remote. as your head unit should have the connection. and the cable supports Chinese head units.

It seems that the radio that I want it is suited with the proper cable for the steering wheel. I supose I'm going to buy it along with the connects2 interface

Many thanks!
