Question Connects 2 fitting kit

If'n I get CTKHD01 Connects2 Ltd do I still need to buy a radio specific adaptopr such as Connects2 Ltd or will the universal jobbie 'CTMULTILEAD.2' that comes in the kit suffice?

To get the best functionality from a new stereo use the specific lead for the make of stereo fella thats what they advised me when I purchased one.
