Bluetooth input from xcarlinks CTAHOBT001

Looking at this on eBay. The seller says it's comparable with a y cable for my nav. Anyone used one?

Some folks have used connects2 before, ref; Connecting an MP3 player - Civinfo Wiki

I used xCarLink which worked well.

I have just fitted that same kit from same seller to my Honda Jazz with a Y cable because of separate USB module connected to the stereo and it works fine.

Jason is very helpful and honest. Connects2 in comparison told me it wouldn't work because they don't sell Y cables. Idiots.

He mentioned I could return the item if it didn't fit. And was very swift in replying and helpful. Just wondered if anyone had fitted one. I have a 2006 civic with nav

All of the posts I've seen don't have the bluetooth model I linked. My hft module is knackered so it will kill 2 birds with one kit ?

Just fitted one yesterday, no complaints yet. You need the Y-cable if you want to keep the Satnav connected.
