I bought my kit from Dynamic Sounds ob ebay.

Link: (i'm not allowed to post links so hopefully someone will interject and paste a link for me)
That should do for a standard replacement Headunit, capable of doing single and double din.

Note that to stick a double din or indeed the plastic under a single din unit, you'll need to dremel or cut out either some of the plastic on the bottom left hand side of the car's interior or from the bottom left corner of whatever tray you're sticking under the single din unit.

That kit there should do steering wheel controls as well, it comes with a generic cable connections but gives you pin outs and wire colour instructions to make them fit different brand of head-units.

With regards the DAB, didn't think the 8th Gen Civics came with DAB recievers. You may need to purchase one of those and install it as well, there should be a few guides.

If you know how to remove trim without breaking the plastics (be especially careful with the top left and right hand corner of the trim by the little pocket above the gearstick this is quite weak and prone to breaking) then i'd do this by yourself! It's an 1 hour long job if you're being careful.

I wrapped my cables up and cable tied them etc to prevent rattling so spent a bit longer on it!

Have a fn got double din pioneer fitted most time taken is removing parts of interior, like was said careful about part above gear-lever, I needed a dab aerial connector came free with connects 2 , take a look on utube helped me, try a hairdryer to heat that part might make it easer think there are 3 clips 2 at the side 1 in middle. Good luck
