Hi, I'm looking for a working discount code too so I can by the UDB/SD interface. I've tried all the recent ones posted but it says "Coupon not available".

Thanks

Hi,

I mailed them about the discount code and they said that it seems that people are able to access the discount codes without actually being a member of civinfo so they disabled the coupons.

We can open a sales support ticket, link the civinfo profile to them and they will give us individual coupon codes and the usual 10% discount.

I just got mine from them.

Hope this helps.

Hi all,

Looking to install an xcarlink with a y-cable in my 2.2 EX (with satnav). However, as part of my insurance, I've got an Admiral 'little box' attached under the steering wheel and I'll get 'told off' if I muck about with it - is there a less invasive way of fitting that doesn't mean taking all that apart?

Cheers

Anyone wanting to buy one of these... Civinfo24 works (just through trial and error!) as of 2016-02-27!

Where you guys are buying the xcarlink?

Also I have some questions about the function of this device:
1 - It allow more than 9 CD's on the USB stick? Because I have another device (not a xcarlink) that only allow me to have 9 CD folders inside of the usb stick
2 - When you put some music inside of the usb stick they are ordered by name when played on the car? On mine USB CDC changer (not xcarlink) seems all the musics didn't follow any kind of order (name, date...)

I got mine 2nd hand off the forum

Yes, more than 9 CD's can be added but only 9 folders can be used. So drop the CD's into any of the 9 allowed folders. I believe you can have up to 100 tracks per folder.

Album names/songs aren't displayed.

Sorting can be accomplished by a freeware utility, DriveSort?

Also check the mp3tag utility.

So it is the same of the one I have now, more than 9 folders are not allowed. Maybe it is a limitation of the Civic's standard radio + CDC connection ?
