Hey, I came across your thread because of a mutual scammer called Lord Michael Danger Hamilton. I was wondering if perhaps we can help each other. I am in south east asia, and have all of his important documents as he worked for me, and scammed our company. There is a small chance he will be in London this Feb (was going to be a company trip) but we fired him last week and then uncovered his scam and now noticing it looks like he has changed his legal name etc. So if you guys actually submitted police reports I might might be able to share his flight details and catch this ****er once and for all. To be fair, him going on this company trip might not happen but he has the ticket and it is already paid for so it might be worth a shot. Hope you get this! Thanks!

    part two...

Some locals are questioning my want to downsize (and move away from factory spec which i can understand) and another said i might have heat issues from the brakes when taking the car on track ie not enough clearance.

17s will give me both more wheel and tyre options here as well as being much cheaper on the tyre front. Our roads aren't brilliant either so some added ride comfort would be a bonus. 17s might be a little more forgiving at the limit on track which may be useful for my level of "talent".

Sorry for bombarding you with so many questions, there seems to be a wealth of knowledge in NZ on Integras and older Civics but wheel/tyre shops seem a little shy on FD2's. Also did you get a baffled sump, if so what kind?

Thanks in advance for any advice or tips you can provide. Happy New Year....cheers Rich.

    Hi Lunar Tick,

Random question from the other side of the world. I have just purchased an FD2R and am looking to do track days and enjoy some of the great roads this country offers. Wanting to switch to 17 inch wheels and tbh there doesn't seem to be a lot of info on this (well i can't find it). On my search i did come across one of your posts from August 2012 about switching to 17s.

Your car looks great on those wheels by the way, can't beat OZ. I see you have 17x8 with 225/45/17 tyres. Do you recall what the offset is on your OZ's, is it the same as the OE 60mm? Have you had to modify your car in anyway (ie roll guards etc) to fit this wheel size? I see you said the geometry stayed the same so that's a bonus. I assume they cleared the factory Brembos ok.

(have had to cut my message in two)
