    Hi Relic,

I've seen a few posts regards the power loss in a civic 2.2 cdti - I am having similar issues.

I tried what you mentioned - priming the fuel bulb, but the bulb does not get rock hard as you mentioned. I have also monitored the fuel level and that seems fine - so don't think I have a fuel leak. Strange thing is that the MPG suddenly dropped from 45 to 35 when the power loss occurred. Any ideas?, I'm concerned there may be air in the fuel lines - but I've been pumping that bulb for 20/30 mins and it has not changed - lol.

I've just recently had it serviced and also the battery went completely dead on me so replaced that also - think the ECM got reset because of this also. Currently I am thinking the EGR may need a clean as that's not been done for a while.

Taking into a garage later this week - just want to get some ideas on what could be the issue so I have a rough estimate of what I should be paying.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Shame, you seem to have been as quiet as I have of late - keeping busy?

I've a datalog from Brands if you're interested, was looking at it the other day to see how hot everything is! Have since fitted the headshield and Mugen grill so things getting a little better and I've still got fog scoops to fit.

Got some funds set aside for coilovers me things, that or alloys!

Did you go ahead and get coilovers Relic? I'm going to be speaking with Meister R as everyone I've spoken to speaks highly of them.

    Hi Relic,

my name is Mike. I am looking for the wiring diagram of Honda Civic 2006+. Actually, my car is a Honda Civic, model 2009, i-vtec, 1.4cc, 100hp. But, i think the wirings will be the same in general. I want to see the wiring diagram because i want to connect a tracker and i do not know where are the wires, what does the colors mean etc.

The tracker i intend to buy is this one:

New TK103B GPS Tracker Alarm for car Auto Vehicle+Remote control+Siren Thinpax | eBay

    Could you please help me?

    Greetings.

Hi Relic, I saw a thread in which you borrowed a type r exhaust in order to take some dimensions - I'm not sure whether you were only looking at pipes etc or if you had the actual triangles too - I'm attempting to convert a 2.2 5dr to the type r kit with gp front splitter. Most parts are bought but my rear type r splitter doesn't come with the exhaust triangles and I was considering creating something of my own (as I want to fit larger diameter rear tailpipes)
I was planning on working along the same lines of the HKS rear triangle covers in order to use wide circular exhaust pipes... however need the dimensions of said triangles in order to make my own.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks

Think we fixed it, We took the sender unit out ( why is it i keep being told its a pump when it looks like its just a sender unit ) anyway took it out & cleaned the filter at the bottom of the unit as it was full of crud & its driving like a dream, The only problem i have now is that i keep feeling a shudder through the car when im accelerating, I thought it was the engine running badly but now its fixed i can still feel it, The only way i can describe is that it feels like the car is flexing the same way my wifes 206cc used to feel when we had the roof down and were turning a corner.

Any ideas as to what could be causing this.

Thanks for the reply, I had a fitter at my work run a hose straight from the pump outlet to the primer & replace the primer with a large online filter we use on big water pumps & we could see air enter the filter, we tried the other line on the tank pump just to make sure we had the correct line and it sent fuel through without air but the pipe we had disconnected had fuel returning through it so I can only assume it's the return pipe for the fuel, if that makes sense to you ( I'm just a trucker so not sure of the proper termanology ) thanks again for any advice

Hi Relic,I was informed by another member that you had a substantial knowledge of honda engine's & i hoped you could help me, I have a 2.2 CTDI 2005 CR-V & have a fueling problem, When i run the engine the primer bulb collapses if its touch,I have had it in to a friends garage & had it on the there computer & the readout states theres a low fuel pressure fault, If i drive the car without stamping on the loud peddle it drives ok but if i try & give it some push it missfires & drives really slowly & the glow plug light flashes, If i pull over and turn the engine off for about 1 minute the primer re-inflates & i can drive again, Im thinking that the tank pump is not working or working very poorly & the hi lift pump in the engine is doing all the work & as soon as the hi lift pump starts pulling fuel there is not enough fuel coming up from the tank & this is why the primer pump is collapsing.I pulled the electric connector on the top of the tank pump of the pump & it made no difference.

Hello mate, how are you getting on? Still in a suspension pickle??

Just wondered if you were going to do a how-to on your ramair system, it's something that really interests me but I don't have much clue about where to start.
How much would it cost in parts as well?

Got a bluetooth OBDII and phone, could use laptop but not sure which software to use (haven't found a simple free one yet) and also wielding the laptop in the car (as I'm sure you can attest to) is less than ideal.
