hi all...... good to be here at last , was going to buy a civic 4 years ago but ended up buying a pre owned renault megane  , got my SE civic yesterday pleased with it even though the front brakes have seized up slightly, will phone tomorrow to book it in. i have found these kind of sites very helpful in the past so hopefully i will find out things about my car along the way..... the first thing i was going to do is to fit front fog lights, i want to know if the wiring is there already for them.... any help would be greatful.... cheers

if i shout out my window you will probably hear me lol, was going to take the car a run today... but with the brakes seizing on i cant. i had a test drive in it last saturday and thougt it was a bit sluggish for a 1.8 thought it might just be me not being used to it. drove away from the showroom yesterday and soon as i got on the motorway i went up the gears fast. once it got to sixth the speed just died on me... again thought it was just me, got home and went out an hour later to look at the engine, you could hardly touch the top of the engine as it was that hot. (didnt know about the brakes at this point) , i phoned the salesman he said that the journey from perth to glasgow would make the engine hot... but i knew myself it shouldnt be that hot. took it a run and just got on the m74 and the car just stopped, i managed to free the brakes and got home ok.. it was then i clicked why the engine was so warm and why i thought it was under powerd,
