Stonesie It sounds like a wire being pulled as you install the unit, next time you pull it out give them all a jiggle and see if that's the case but try replacing the fuse anyway first (it could have shorted out). It can be tricky to see a tiny break in the wire through the tinted plastic so I use the continuity (beep) setting on a multi meter to check them before removing, they can use standard low profile micro blade fuses or the mini blade fuses.

I can't think what else to check really, it must be something that you have disturbed.

No power or display from OEM or Double Din Install

Iíve spent most of the day installing a Pioneer double din unit and connects 2 kit. Everything was tested and it was all ok. I proceeded to sort the cabling at the rear and clip the fascia unit in place. Once this was done and the power turned on there was no longer any power to the Pioneer or the cars time/ aircon display. Removed the unit and unplugged the cables etc but still no luck. Plugged the oem head unit back in and it all worked. Tried it again and now the oem wonít work. Fuse 35 looks ok and not blown. Any help???
