Also anyone bumped into the thread where someone found a way of installing without taking everything apart. I bumped into it a month or so ago but can't find it now

Me personally, if you have the cash to install a good double din that mirrors and has phone call connection etc I would go for that.

Hi, I use one in my fn2 and also have one in my FRV too. They work very well and I found easy to install, but as said above, you will need to get the stereo out to plug it in.

Either way you'll have to get the stereo out.

Xcarlink discount code -updated

They seem to have a sale on.
It doesn't say but when you add to basket it comes up cheaper.

For the standard interface with usb and ad slot. With a additional Y cable with the civinfo24 code comes to 66

Yes, more than 9 CD's can be added but only 9 folders can be used. So drop the CD's into any of the 9 allowed folders. I believe you can have up to 100 tracks per folder.

Album names/songs aren't displayed.

Sorting can be accomplished by a freeware utility, DriveSort?

Also check the mp3tag utility.
So it is the same of the one I have now, more than 9 folders are not allowed. Maybe it is a limitation of the Civic's standard radio + CDC connection ?

dimitri9494 Where you guys are buying the xcarlink?

Also I have some questions about the function of this device:
1 - It allow more than 9 CD's on the USB stick? Because I have another device (not a xcarlink) that only allow me to have 9 CD folders inside of the usb stick
2 - When you put some music inside of the usb stick they are ordered by name when played on the car? On mine USB CDC changer (not xcarlink) seems all the musics didn't follow any kind of order (name, date...)
