US model speed limiter

I have a question just from curiosity.

I like some Acura models, mainly the TL (2013 Acura MDX | Photos, Specs, Accessories | Acura.comand if I had the money, I would certainly be interested in buying one.

But the US Hondas and Acuras have top speed limited by ECU to a ridiculous 120-130 mph, for 300+ hp and SH-AWD.

Do yout think it is possible to break such limiter? In US forums there's no such solution and the american fellows get really angry (seriously) if somebody asks about driving at a higher speed than that.

Do you tell them it is for export to your country?
Maybe in the ECU.

Is the MD-X like a CR-V?
If it uses the same kind of engine change ECUs

If the model has flashpro the speed limiter can be deactivated/ changed.

It's actually a feature of all Honda ECUs and the functionality is in Flashpro under rev limits ( usually set to 20 odd thousand mph to delimit it

It's just hypothetical, but thanks for the answer. Interesting thing.
