Talking Li's New Suprise is here =)

So Some of you may rememember I sold my facelift satin silver Ep3 last month to make way for my new project...

I've had a few people ask me why I sold her and tell me that I would regret it. However, I like to be different and one of a kind, always go out to turn heads kinda thing. The satin civic was just too much of the norm and no matter how much money thrown at her she would still be "on of those" . So the heartbreaking decision was made and I let her go.

Unknown to me, the new motor suprisingly arrived 6weeks later. Wasn't originally planning on getting the new motor until after Christmas. But you know what they say, "Whatevers meant to be, will always find a way."

On Friday 28th June I found myself on a 300 mile round trip to Worcester through the kind generosity of Gaz_Ep3 to pick up my Beautiful Baby.

This time I'm riding the pre facelift side of life with my JDM Imported Ep3.

JDM Refinements include:
LSD
Privacy glass
Red Recaros
Red Carpets
A/C
Electric Folding Mirrors
Xenons

Current Modifications include:
Buddy Club Short Shifter
Jackson Racing Manifold
DBR 4000 Brae discs grooved/slotted
Ferodo ds2500 pads
SPOON fll exhaust, fully decat
Yoko Prada Spec 2's all round.
JDM wind deflectors

I have many, many future plans for this rare, sort hard to find pride and joy . Too many to mention!! First things first, she needs abit of TLC and tidying up as I love my motors to be spotless! The union jack badge will be going back on this weekend (was previously owned by an asian who didn't want it on for obvious reasons!).

Once I have the logbook through my private plate will be on. Engine bay needs a good detail and rocker cover will be painted. New "TYPE R" stickers needed for the side skirts as they have signs of wear. Wheels need a refurb however I am contemplating some different wheels so probably wont refurb the oem ones. On the hunt for a double din head unit. Still need to decide on what suspension I will be running and need a silencer but slow and steady she will be sitting pretty.

I could write all night long but i'll save the rest for another day =)

So here she is ...

There are but they are DC5 money to import so people tend to import them. I think there are about half a dozen facelift JDMs in the country.

Ah ok. Suppose it would be cheaper to buy a face lift front.

There is a fair bit more than just the facelift front, but enough thread crapping!

Pre-facelifts are just as sweet!

JimmyH yeah I'm on most the forums

Devil84 I have a long list of plans drafted out for her but relatively happy with the spec its running at the min. To name a few, my prioritised plans will be mapping, suspension and tidying her up. And then there's every thing else inbetween the lines of prioritised plans.

So start as I mean to go on I took advantage of the summer sun (while it lasts) and cracked on with cleaning her up!!

Firstly I removed the old worn side skirt stickers and replaced with new carbon fiber look ones:

Then I had the pleasant job of replacing the union jack flag to the rear as the previous owner had kindly removed it. Being Asian he stated "for obvious reasons" *rolls eyes!* No further comment needed!

Then I set about getting her washed, waxed and clay barred until she was sitting pretty
