how to reset ECU (2000 Civic)

Hi guys... mine is a 2000 model civic (Ex - D15Z4 Engine)... how can i reset the ECU?

I think you just unplug it and then plug it back in?

yeah... i did read it.. but not sure if it works... but i wanna try out the reset anyway.... so anyone got any ideas ??? (Tested theories)

Because it does. If the battery is disconnected for about 10 minutes there will be no power to the ECU.

Im a bit confused....surely your the one with symptoms, hence why you want to reset the ECU ??
