Help with suspension on 2nd gen civic

Hey guys

Absolutely brand new member here. I'm having trouble with my suspension, it's not as new as some other members on here, she's a 1981 civic 2nd gen.

Snapped a front spring a few months back and have been struggling ever since to get a replacement.

Anyone got any ideas where I could source a set of springs?

My last resort might be a set of coilovers, but I really don't want to go that route as everything is absolutely standard...

Hmm, This is a long shot, but this gentleman had some articles about his classic Civic restoration efforts:

If you could find some contact details, he may be able to put you on the right track.

I'll have a look...

Here's his FB by the looks of things:
And here's the Honda Heritage group, which could probably be of use:

Anywhom, can't come all this way and not show us some pictures! Using it as a daily driver?

Im sure Mike Brewer had coil springs made for a car once, dont think they were all that expensive to do. Might be worth google "Custom Springs" or similar, or seeing if you can find the episode.

Edit: heres the company he used.
