cam belt change

Just bought a 2005 1.4 civic for my wife it has done 57,000 miles, when should the cam belt be changed

Every 75000-80000 miles or 5 years I think.

I thought it was 60k miles of 5 years but I havent got the information now, so I stand to be corrected. Had my 1.6 changed at 54k to be on the safe side as I was relocating. Mechanic said it was still in good condition. My manual was confusing on when to change it.

I recall seen this last night as I was looking through my service book,,

75000-80000 or 5 year which ever comes first,

For my old EP2 (2003 1.6 3door) it was 150000 km or 8 years. Interesting that both figures are lower in UK.
