issues with 2005 civic type s

Hi everyone,

hope someone can shed some light on a few issues i am facing.

Just purchases a 2005 civic type s with 68k in gunmetal grey

The gear changing in 2nd and 3rd is smooth and sometimes gets stuck.
secondly, at times i can feel a vibration when the clutch is pressed and when i let go of the clutch it makes a click noise when it gets to the top

finally, when braking i can feel/hear a grinding noise coming from the front but the brake pads still have some life in them

Has anyone else come across these problems before?

Also just remembered the car also jerks when changing gears

Zed

Try a box oil change as its cheaper than a clutch and wont hurt anyway. Do the brakes always grind or just at first?

Hi,
Thanks for the reply.

It is always grinding when i am braking.

So far the car has done around 68k with 7 services done by Honda, the last service done in june 2012 at 61k. I'm not sure if i need to do a service, if i need a service done then may get the gearbox oil changed?
