Notification "Like" not linking

My notifications are building up because for some reason the "Like" notification no longer links to show me who has liked what. Quotes and mentions link fine. Any ideas?

There are quite a few things they've broken recently. We've posted directly to them but their reply is along the lines that they can't cope as all their (40?) sites have issues.

Even our backbone, the Wiki, is down the list.

+1 to flashy's comment... Checked this the other day and noticed the link didn't work.. Quotes seem to be OK, just not likes

Nothing works properly for me...I see the home page, anything else is just text down the left hand side of the screen. I can post, but I can't navigate well, or really see.

Is the forum issue going to take as long to rectify as the stickers???

Hope not because they still haven't sorted the stickers. It's been done by a member here.

I don't know about both skins but I use the Vbulletin blue skin and it's far from the smooth skin it was before the red autoguide skin was merged in.

What you've got now is likely to be what you've got for some time to come.

They've stuffed it with the cloud migration.

From my understanding they've also stuffed a large number of their other sites and are now overwhelmed with problems.

We were warned by a few members this would happen just after they took over. At that time I was sceptical because all I thought they had to do was take over and reap the sponsor benefits - how wrong I was.

They have meddled and tweaked it to almost death. Look how long the Wiki has been unavailable. It's almost been down 50% since last November.

we're not getting updates from the devs... usually they fix things without telling us but it could just be a fluke.

48 By my count, going by the subject alternative names (non www.) in the HTTPS cert. I hope they don't forget a renewal, or everyone gets broken

I'd hope that there is more than 1 developer to support 48 sites, especially amongst changes!

New Posts (EN) working for me.

Without it there'd be no point me logging in as that's my feed for new posts to check.

Just stopped working for me now. Doesn't work across different browser or incognito mode so not on the user side.

On some of our other sites that are having similar issues, 'likes' is the only notification that does not link properly. It seems to take members to their profile page rather than likes. The workaround for this is to click on 'Likes' from your notifications and then click on the number under "Likes Received" in your Mini Statistics on the right hand side of the screen. That should direct you to your likes and will also clear the notification (once you refresh the page).

We are aware that this needs to be fixed, however since there is a work around in place, it doesn't rank as high on the technical fix list. Hopefully they'll be able to get it sorted soon.

Cheers,

Erik

That's strange. When I click on 'Your notifications' (Top right) I get a drop down. Towards the bottom of the list, I get a 'New likes received' thingy. If I click on that, it takes me to a new page showing all my posts that have been liked.
Is this how it is meant to work?
If so, I wonder why it is working for med and not others.

PS I am using the blue UI not that horrid red thing that's about as much use as tits on a bull.

Yes correct that's what's supposed to happen but it's not for me. I use the blue classic page on my mobile
