Meetings section

Hi

I've just been looking through the meeting section to see if there are any meets coming up that I can attend, but find most I have to go into to find when there taking place as the title doesn't have a date.

I was wondering if it was possible or a good idea to others if we could add a extra column to put a date the event is taking place that way you could sort them into date order and quickly see when it's taking place. Also means it would be easier to see events that are already in the past that could be moved to the past events folder.

Just a thought

Perhaps the mods should police the meet section and remove threads that arent in the calendar ?

Bit harsh but at least people will setup the meets properly.

There needs to be a separate calender for meets as the one at present is too full of birthdays.

Probably better to save the meeting section for when the meeting is finalised then ?

+1 on the birthdays cluttering the calendar.

Can we find a day without a birthday?

The challenge that no-one cares about. If there is one it would be interesting though.

That is true, but if that date is changeable by the thread starter then it wouldn't matter

Like I said earlier calendar is useless cause all I can see is birthdays which I aren't what I'm looking for lol

So having an extra column when you go in the meeting section which has the date, which in return could link to the calendar. That way you can go into the section which is most applicable I.e midlands for me and I could sort the new date column into date order (date put in for meet by the thread starter) and can easily see what's coming up

And as I said would also come in handy as once that date is in the past it could automatically be archived to past meets so the meeting section only has upcoming events.

The other reason I suggested this not just for myself I've seen a number of other users miss future events cause they didn't see them in time.
