Wheel arch trim

I have a 2007 Honda civic type s gt. I need a new front passenger side wheel arch trim.

Does anyone know if I need to get one from another type s gt or will one from any model of Honda civic fit?

Sure, a Type S or R arch from a matching generation will fit nicely.

From another spec 8th gen and it will fit but you'll need to flare it into the front splitter and unpainted will not match the rest of your trim.

If the clips have broken you can try what i did, by drilling some tiny slots into the plastic arch where it meets the metal hole inside.
Then feed some tie cables through. It looks a bit messy but if you also drill a tiny hole or two into the inner arch youll be able to
tie it up from inside the arch, with only the tie cable weaving in and out the arch trim. Helps it the arch is black i guess.

I'm on the hunt for the drivers side one, if you find a set we could help each other out!

Don't bother with one from a different model, it doesn't fit properly! Must be Type S, or if yours are painted Type R will match too.

It's been painted Milano red to match the car but I'm not fussed about colour as I can just get it colour matched again.

You say it must be from a type S or R but isn't there different variants of the type S and my car is a 3 door so would the new arch trim have to be from a 3 door as well or would one from a 5 door fit?

Type S/R only came in 3 door.

I think there may be facelifted models, with different front/rear valances, but not certain if the arch trim pieces changed through the years.

You'll just have to buy them or find them used (which i found is quite hard).
If you are looking for the standard model wheel arches you are looking for wrong part, as the one you've post is for the Type-R/Type-S trim.
If you want the standard trims you should be looking for this instead:

Part Numbers: 74115-SMG-E50 & 74165-SMG-E50

Or are you doing a Type-R/Type-S conversion?
If you are looking for a conversion, when i've put the front type-r bumper on my 1.8 i bought the two new type-r wheel arches and a friend of mine cut all of them in half and merged them together.
Later when i've put the type-s side-skirts and rear bumper on i had to buy all the 4 new, so i can sell you the two i had before. As you can see from the pictures the one end has the flair for the type-r front bumper and the other end has the standard look. And the best part is that you don't notice the cut. Take a look at them https://imgur.com/a/e3jJO5g.
I also got two standard for the back wheels.

Drop me a message with an offer if you are interested.

OEM clips come up in plenty of searches on eBay or Google, example search string; civic 8th gen wheel arch clip

https://www.vehicleclips.co.uk/wheel...d-crv-mk3.html

https://www.vehicleclips.co.uk/honda...1-smg-003.html

Type R conversions will also need the fir tree style clips trimming to fit.

If folks have queries about a particular clip then they should ask specific questions here to get the best replies

For parts queries, always first take a look on Lings Honda for your model/year.

Lings can be used to source the Honda part number and has great exploded diagrams

My standard 2007 ictdi sills seem to have shrunk! They donít meet the wheel arches by about 10mm on each side
, anyone else familiar with this issue?
