Removing air vent surrounds

Does anyone here know how to remove the circular air vent surrounds? I want to paint them a different colour.

I done it a while ago. Cant remember clearly but you need to remove the piece of plastic trim on the right of the gear shifter (just where your left knee rests). It is held by screw on the side under the steering wheel. It is held by 2 clips and is pretty tight to remove. Once it is off you will need to remove AC control panel. There are number of screws to remove. The vent surround is held by number of clips. Just pray it off gently. Be careful Honda's plastic is soft and easy damaged. Sorry my memory is a little hazy but this should get you going.

Yeah, I'm talking about the far side ones. The circular shaped ones, not the centre. You can't take out the centre ones, they are part of the centre console.
