Changing inserts/fog light surroundings

Hi everyone

I am looking to change the inserts surrounding the front fog lights to those of the Sport model.

Anyone who knows if this is a straight forward job, or if it requires removing the front bumper to access?

Br,

Ashleigh

I'd recommed switching the whole grille to Sport, then you can get rid of the ribbons and replace them with the honeycomb which looks alot more sporty to accompany the black inserts.

I very interested in doing this myself. I'm unable to find the part used anywhere though. Would like to avoid going to Honda directly for the part. Would most likely be paying stupid money.

Tried all the usual places (ebay etc)

Anybody have any suggestions where to look? Or a link would be amazing

To confirm I believe myself and to OP are looking exactly for the below. Fog surrounds and centre grill. Compared to the horrid standard slate pattern.

Even thou those foglight surround only clips in, you do need to get behind it to release the clips, so the bumper really needs to be removed.

The sport type mesh surrounds are part numbers
71104-TV0-E91 RH

71109-TV0-E91 LH Petrol
71109-TA9-E91 LH Diesel

They are around £30 a side from a Honda dealer.

Front lower centre grill is
71107-TV0-E90 @ around £65

I like sport type mesh surrounds and this fog chrome decoration

That chrome trim is a separate part.
71113-TV0-E51 R/H
71118-TV0-E51 L/H
and are around £25 each.

But if they will actually clip onto the Sport mesh surround with out any modification I couldnt say.

Thanks a lot for that!

Would you be able to do it in some way with removing the bumper?

Could you refit no clips with the new surroundings in some way?

I think without removal the bumper there is no way of changing the surrounding panels.

Have somebody a diy guideline for the front bumper removal??

Wink

After Long time I have done the upgrade to the Sport trim.
You definetly need to remove the bumper. Thisa Job is easy and took not a Long time.

On top of the listed part numbers for the 3 trims, a cover for the lower centre section on the bumper is needed:
71103-tv0-e90

By this ocasion I have changed the fog light colour to yellow JDM look
