Wheel arches

Does anyone know if 2016 sport model wheel arches (factory painted) would fit my 2012?

Desperate to get rid of these horrid black wheel arches on my Ex but warey about getting them painted. Local honda deal are useless at getting back to me.

And if the blue on the limited edition sports models are the same colour code as the 2012 blue models?

Unsure because mine is prefacelift if they will fit. I've got my fingers crossed they will!
Any help would be very much appreciated

Thanks!

I've had mixed answers about painting them. Some say it works and looks brill others say don't bother it chips and looks worse in the long run I've heard " if ita not painted as standard it's not meant to be painted so don't bother" which is annoying as they are very ugly!

Thanks will do!

I would also be interested in a link or part number.

I Was thinking of doing this. I dont think it should be any issue if the body shop knows what they doing. Plenty of trucks etc have plastic parts painted.

Worst case if the paint cracks replace them with the black ones again

mladjan, do the same spacers as on the 8G fit on 9G? I have 2 pairs of H&R spacers lying around 15mm front and 20mm for the back. Will that clear the arches with wheel travel?

It should be the same. But you need longer screws for that.

Should be no different to install than on my 8th gen right? They are H&R Trak+ DRM spacers. They bolt to the hub and with its own screws to the wheels. Should not need specially longer screws.
