Give me some ideas please!

Since I bought my 2012 Civic, I've noticed my town becoming slowly populated by more Civic 9's.

So I was wondering if there was anything I could do with it to make it stand out a little bit. I'm considering some wind deflectors but other than that, I'm pretty stumped.

All depends on how you'd like it to stand out. I've always noticed bonnet bras on cars and as theres not many people that have them, that'll make it stand out. You could go all out and fit a bodykit or bgw or a sub... or a noisy exhaust. Quite an open question.

Its dark blue. Cant remember what the name is off the top of my head but it's the pre-facelift dark blue, which I think is slightly darker than the facelift blue. Not keen on bonnet bras, I tried one on an older car once and somehow it buggered the paint, I think because moisture or something got stuck in it. Was only an old VW Golf on it's last legs, so wasn't overly fussed about it...I kinda like this civic though.

I also thought it was pretty 'exclusive' round these parts as I hadn't seen many around, until I bought mine, now there's loads. Even my dad went out and ordered a brand new one!

Always the way mate. When I bought my first mk1 Escort, I thought no one else on the road had one. Flipping things were everywhere!!

What about fitting DRLs? Or the vampires teeth... whatever you call them... the decals that go on the bonnet and boot.

How about some genuine Honda styling add ons in chrome or silver, which would complement the dark blue?

Being genuine parts they're a bit pricey but maybe it gives you a few ideas...

Let us know how you get on!

Hi, I think the best and most simply way to change look of your car is change wheels. If you want more, go for adjustable suspension and lower it. This solution change look of you car a lot and your car get better driveability.
