facelift rear lights

So I've spent a lot of time at the back end of my 2012 Civic today, and to be honest, the bright red lights just look a bit out of place.

I could tint them, but I reckon they'd be a nightmare to do...

I was wondering if it would be possible to replace the units in the rear quarter panels with the facelift lights with no wiring modifications and then simply tint the stuff on the boot?

Been thinking the same thing mate, Wiring wise, I am not sure, in terms of fitting, the shape looks the same. I've been thinking to buy a pair from ebay to test.

I'm reasonably sure they are the same, changing the shape of the lights would result in having to change the bulk of cars body work, all that was changed in the facelift was the cosmetic stuff, not the body work.

I might be wrong, I could just butcher my dads car, he has a 2016 one lol

Has anyone ever tried to apply the facelift of the light with the wing?
