Mud flap issue

So I bought a set of these from a dealer on eBay thinking they looked quite smart based on the stock picture.

https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?m...2F251002819028

I received them a few days later and they are a much lighter grey colour and quite frankly look odd (crap) at best, I've attached a pic of the one I fitted to show what I mean. I removed it pretty much straight away as it looks ridiculous in my mind.

I'll see what they say tomorrow when I get in touch as they ain't cheap but wondered if anyone else has seen this before?

My OEM ones aren't too bad:

The odd thing is that the photos make them look lighter than they really are.

The picture above is of the one I fitted to my car. I took it straight off as it looks ridiculous. Yours look similar in my mind, I can't believe how poor the colour match is.

That's better. It turns out the ones I had before are for the pre face lift MK9 which has lighter plastic wheel arch trims.

You have the wrong ones-- I have the facelift version on my car and they match the wheel arch trims perfectly.

Hi sjgillett

I have had the same issue and returned mine to the seller.

Could you please tell me where you purchased the black ones from.
