im looking at getting a corbeau pro series for drivers side only, and the problem im having is regarding the fixing of the seat. i know i need side mounts, no issue there, but because the fn2 seat is a complete unit, when it comes out, im left with 4 holes. so i need to find out what i need to fix the new seat to the floor, including a new seat rail. i spoke to corbeau and they said with seat rail, side mounts and the seat, im going to be sitting with my head wedged on the car ceiling. they could only suggest modifying stuff myself to suit, which i think is bizarre. surely there must be something i can buy that will bolt straight in? providing the seat goes back and forward so i can reach the pedals, thats the only thing im worried about.
the seat will only be going in for trackdays, so i thought i could just buy a seat, get some side mounts and a seat rail and im away, but somehow its not that simple.

J's do a low slung seat rail which one of my customers with an S2000 that races uses , they are quite smart - I can get you anything Corbeau that you need btw they are about 20 mins from me..we have some nice customised ones in our Impreza... I'm just about to chat with J's about the race seats that they use in their FN for another one of my customers so I'll ask the question for you
