Supercharger kit

Hi,

I have been thinking of getting my car supercharged.

I was woundering if you could ge me diffrent prices? and how much bhp i will get with each.
Would love prices for full kit, with installation,fitting and mapping.
Even the cost if i need to buy some more stuff to make it work.
I have a 2007 FN2, so no LSD on this car.
I have Flashpro myself and milltek cat-back.
Right now i have 4000Euro saved for this.

But think it might be cheaper to do it at you, then here in Sweden anyway, even with the cost to drive the car down there and stay in england for 1 week or how long it might take.
Or maybe cheaper to ship it with a truck/boat down there?

Hello
We work really closely with the lads at TTS and can supply the kits at the same deals they are offering.
As a guide the Sport kits are 2 days, The Supersport and shaft drive kits are 3 days to fit and map.
You would only need an intake and manifold on top of what you have power wise then

Whats the diffrent between the SUPERSPORT and Shaft Drive Kit?

Prices i could check is:

SUPERSPORT

Supercharger
£3500.00 +vat


Tegiwa Manifold or a Solid Fabrications manifold, depending on price and quallity on both of them
But around £500

Is it a Honda RRC intake manifold you mean?
Since i have a HKS Premium Suction Reloaded intake, insteed of stock intake, if it just another intake i need.
If its a Honda RRC intake manifold its: £430


Price: £4430 + installation and mapping.

Whats the bhp i will get with this kit?


Shaft Drive Kit

Full kit with Rotrex C38-81 supercharger (350-500 bhp) ​
£4000+vat

(Full kit with Rotrex C38-91 supercharger (400-600 bhp)
£4150+vat)

Tegiwa/Solid
£500

Honda RRC
£430

Price: £4930 (bigger kit £5080) + installation and mapping


Thats about right?

I can answer the question on what the differences are for you

Supersport, uses a rotrex C30-94 supercharger, this kit can produce up to around 370-390 bhp on a stock engine. This is just the medium size supercharger so it is completely maxed out at this level of tune. It also uses a smaller flat billet plenum in order to package the supercharger in its position which does have a slight detrimental effect on power over using the stock intake manifold. The kit is also designed to use the stock airbox and runs the throttle body before the supercharger meaning no dump valve required (so no noise on throttle lift off)

Shaftdrive kit, This is the big boys toy. The kit was mainly designed for people who want really big power on a forged engine, however it is proving quite popular with customers who are fitting it to a stock engine in a de-tuned state which can give in the region of 420-440 bhp running between 12-13 psi of boost. this level of power is with us spinning the supercharger to 82,000 rpm. it can actually go all the way to 90,000 rpm which will produce around 19 psi and circa 500+bhp which is the man selling point as when you get bored with the stock engine it is a very easy upgrade path for an extra 100 bhp if you just fit forged rods and pistons, uprate the fuel line system and change out the supercharger pulley for a smaller one. The other main benefits of the shaft drive kit over the supersport are that it comes with its own cold air feed kit, a very large front mount intercooler, and generally is just a far superior design to the older supersport kit. oh and it has a bov so you get the nice noise. lol

oo thanks, then i know the diffrent.
So if im going to buy anything, it will be the shaft drive kit.
Are my calculations right on the price?
Since i only have 4000Euro saved, i need to get some more money before i can do this and i need to calculate the cost to take my car from Sweden to UK.

Do i need anything more then the things i have listed in the shaft drive kit calculation?

I cant comment on pricing other than the supercharge kit which as you say is £4000, The kit includes most things you will need like injectors, fuel pump etc.

Other things you will need if your car is standard are...

A performance exhaust system
A sports cat or de-cat pipe
Performance exhaust header is advised (but not critical)
Hondata flash pro
up-rated clutch
And its always a good idea to fit up-rated engine mounts with these kits as it does swing the engine about allot on standard mounts.

Other things that are also a very good investment if you are going for around 400 bhp are a limited slip diff, and the longer ratio 6th gear is always nice so that you can have some decent fuel economy on a long drive. (6th is around the £200+fitting price)

Going to order this from TDi North, but im not going to do it at them , will cost me about 2500Euro, just to get down there and back home, since i need to be there atleast 4-5days and live.
But found a good company here in sweden that have done supercharge installation before and peaple recommend them.

TDi-North and TTS, have i missed anything else, that i need to order for this?
C38-91 Shaft drive kit for FN2
New Clutch
Battery relocation kit
Solid fabrication race exhaust manifold (need a cat, so I can pass the emission test and the random test cops have on the road sometimes here in Sweden)
Engine mounts


Going to wait with the LSD and longer 6th gear.
Will order these later.

I already have: Hondata Flashpro,Milltek cat-back,HKS Premium Suction Reloaded

How much will the standard connection rods and pistons hold for?
Since im getting the c38-91 supercharger kit.

Highly interested but only thing I would have trouble with is knowing what to buy...is there a best or recommended to get on everything ? Ie exhaust system,header etc etc just so I can start purchasing them and getting ready forthe supercharger kit .
