Competition Clutch i-CDTi Upgraded Clutches

Hi Civinfoer's

We thought we would make a sticky with all the info about the N22 engine upgraded clutch

Single Plate Clutch with Single Mass Flywheel


This is ideal for people that are fed up with a standard clutch that doesn't last and they want a remap to the standard car with minor upgrades such as intake etc. it is also great if you do a bit of towing with the vehicle as the clamping force is stronger than the standard clutch.

We have various options for the clutch:
Twin Plate Clutch with Single Mass Flywheel


This is the clutch that is ideal for people that want to have the best clutch they can and are substantially increasing the power be this with hybrid turbos etc. This clutch is also ideal for people that tow alot as the twin plate helps with the extra load on the drive train.

Are u not able to get an update from CC? as it doesn't normally take more than 7 days for freight to come across Atlantic via sea.

I'm just wondering how the Self Adjusting Clutch mech is retained as the pressure plate looks like a standard diaphragm whereas the OEM clutch has it built into the pressure plate according to the LUK website.
