CT Supercharger update

Just had Terry's car back in for swapping the exhaust back to stock for the press days planned this week and took the chance of putting it on our dyno to see how it compared with other cars we have had on specifically the JRSC kitted ones.

If you compare this with the JR kitted EP3's we see quite often making similar power its shows real potential given the stock intake and exhaust compared to the EP3's that are running GruppeM intakes and high flow exhausts to make similar power.

Will be intersting next week when we get it back and swap for the custom exhaust and HKS intake.

Plan now is the car goes to London tonight, has the smaller pulley fitted and original stage 1 map re-loading for the press reviews where the car is targeted at people pretty much just banging the charger to stock cars....with the options to upgrade.

Anyway.
Here is the plot that I will be using as a baseline for when I start winding the power up next week with the better breathing mods.

Terry CT.pdf

UPDATE: Price for the basic kit and Flashpro package is £3760 incl. VAT. Fitting and mapping is £822.50 incl. VAT.

Charger kit on its own is £3209 incl. VAT

Great news now only if i would be allowed one.

Dawid would like to see what your beast of an engine would push out with a charger on it.

I don't want off top but I can't put SC on my K24 Frankenstein. My compression 12:5 is too high for a SC kit. For SC kit needs another pistons and lower compression, unfortunately.

I've thought about going down this route, rather than spending money on manifolds and air filters for tiny BHP increases....

Is that the idea Paul that people with stock CTR's can just bolt these on with no other mods? Is the standard clutch and engine internals OK with that?

Just now Paul is driving my car down to london, I would have thought he might log on either later tonight or in the morning.

Cheers

Awesome figures and graphs Terry, Should see some of mine being put up tomorrow hopefully

Can't wait to see the figures you get after the exhaust and filter are on

I took mine to the BHP on monday and only showed it off just before I was going home and got loads of people swarm it and asking me all questions about it....gotta love being unique

id say, judging by terry's extra mods, brake upgrade, clutch and suspension wouldnt go a miss.

Needs brakes! Hahaha

Drives real smooth. Imagine NA just loads more of it.

It's a great kit quality wise an all the failings of the Jackson kit have been answered here and it shows by how popular they are in America.

I hae a meeting with Mark Catchpole tomorrow where package prices are being worked out but idea is you could bang this straight on a stock car and it will be fine right upto stage 3 which I what the dyno plot shows but with stock parts at the moment...... But not for long

Will post more pictures and information soon

Chief Heretic here ...

Disliking as I do, cars with rear seats but no rear doors, I have a 1.8 (that has had the suspension and brakes upgraded) ...

Question - do you yet have an 'SC' solution for the 1.8 SOHC ? - I believe that the US version has this available now ...

Possibly. Its not something we have looked at in the UK as there hasn't been a demand.
