Motor mount inserts

We have now finished the testing of the motor mount inserts for the FN2's and just waiting on delivery of the first batch which should be next week.

Massive thanks to Tim (Deziboy) and John (Loxy) for helping us out with the testing which has taken a few months to get the right hardness rating that makes a difference to gearchange and effectively wheel hop on a launch without compromising the ride too much.

The kit comes as 3 sets of inserts and we have found that all 3 sets makes best combination for track use and just fitting the top and front one for road use.

RRP on the kits is expected to be 65
fitting cost is 132 to do the full set.

Couple of pictures of the inserts.

Excellent

Are you doing a road use kit with just the top and front inserts?

The kit will have the parts for all 3 mounts. If you want to fit the other one then you have it handy. To me all 3 sets were fine on the car but Loxy mentioned a couple more rattles with all 3 so we pulled one set out.

I'm up for the front and top mounts if they do fit the FD2

Blue is Polybushs standard colour for that specific hardness rating but watch this space.

Yes. Exactly this. It's like you do the ES mounts on an EP3 or DC5.

I did but I don't get what wheelhop is. Anything to make gear changes easier and I'm in though.
