What do you think Tdi north?

Hi Paul! Was wondering what you thought of this to have a cat and retain the silencer in the exhaust? (Page 5&6)

http://www.civinfo.com/forum/modific...type-r-cw.html

If its going to work is it something you could fabricate into my hks exhaust?

The Tegiwa DIY cat kit will fit in this place, just need someone to cut/weld it in, after that it's a relatively easy swap in/out. Here's mine.

Noise is fine even at a steady motorway pace 70mph. I had it on there to pass an MOT last week, no probs with that
I know some guys have replaced the mid box with this but like you I wanted to keep noise down, mainly for the MOT.

Laney, did you do and before/after dyno runs when you installed this? I've godda say that Teg Kit price make this very appealing.

I didn't take it on the dyno I'm afraid, my aim was to have something to pass the MOT but the instant it was on I could feel a drop in power once up and past 4500rpm, which was expected with the flow restriction.
