Question Anyone know how to change the battery on the 'R'

As title really? Is it a case of unplug old and re plug new?

Or is it more complicated than that? Do I have to worry about immobilisers etc?

Thanks, Gaz.

Be prepared to lose your stored radio stations, and I'd advise not having the key in the ignition.

Otherwise it's a basic swap.

When Mr Bozo fitted my folding wing mirror module my battery was disconnected for over an hour.

All I had to do was re-set the dash light level

I brought myself a volt meter to check the battery. I replaced mine after 4 years as it wasn't holding its charge as well, and went for another Honda battery. Honda have upgraded the battery and the new one doesnt have a wellness check, but its supposed to be better?

Yuassa 053 is perfect for this cold weather , has health check on top but when fitting don't refit the plastic battery casing else the positive connector will just pop off no matter how tight you do it
