Pick her up on Friday :)

So the long hunt is now over

Type R GT

07 plate deep bronze
54k
full serv history
4 new tyres
New disks and pads all round

Serv and MOT is due in April
Decided to ask the woman selling to MOT the car before I pick up and I will pay for the test .. Wanted that peace of mind .. She was more than happy to do this

Paying 5,500 plus what the mot costs
Crazy cheap when looking at what others are up for on piston heads and auto trader

Plans I have

Full serv and overall health check as soon as I get her home
Refurbish / powder coat the alloys ( standard 18s ) not sure on colour yet
Light tint to window

Anyone else advise me of any other changes I could make ?

It's my first type R . Had a bad experience before when remapping my 150 GT TDI .. Not looking to go down that route

Filters and exhaust change is something I'm interested in thou

I assume he has gutted the inside of the resonators and deleted the mid silencer. Will make it quite raspy and tinny sounding from what I have heard.

Still got a bargain
