Lightbulb iPod adapter

I've got the sat nav option on my CTR, and had the iPod adapter retro fitted a couple of months after I bought the car. I was really disappointed to find out that the iPod display can't be used on the nav screen. I think Honda have missed a trick here, any ideas whether they will do anything about it with an upgrade to software as the nav controller is ideal for controlling a iPod, and I'd love to be able to see which one of my 4000 odd tunes is playing.

This is a well known limitation of the ipod adapter.

Not sure if a software upgrade would be enough or indeed if there is enough memory available to add that feature.

I doubt there will be an upgrade.

I do agree 100% that it would be great to have!

It would be good if there was away to get round the honda screen on the ipod so you have full control like it was an aux in system.

Good point. I think for 200 odd pounds its a bit steep for what it does.

Honda iPod Interface*::*HONDA*::*XCarLink

Thats the best cable imo, you get full control of the ipod inc the click wheel when connected.
