You can take it to a non Honda garage if they are VAT registered and service your car as per Honda's servicing schedules.

No, there are EU rules to ensure that you can service your car elsewhere.

It should be cheaper too!

We do lots of services on customer’s cars that feel they aren't getting value from dealers. As well as that aspect we specialize in Type-R’s so you know it’s a specialist working on your car rather than someone that normally sees Jazz’s and company high miler accords every day!

As has been said above as long as OEM parts are used and it's carried out to dealer recommendations your warranty will remain valid.

Our prices are posted here: http://www.civinfo.com/forum/tdi-north/17899-servicing-your-hondas.html

Also from time to time we do offers which may give further savings like this month (September) a 15% discount on labour so gives a bit more in your pocket.

Yeah take it to ABP Motorsport or TDI North and with the pennies you save treat it to something i.e FRS or something.

I purchased the first 5 services in bulk from Honda this came to around £550 if i remember rightly, which was a large saving something like £350. If you have had your car for less than six months you can purchase this still. Not sure if they still do this but this was April time this year.

Hi,

I was told that "Honda Happiness" as it's called can be purchased upto 8 months after the initial registration of the car. £550 for 5 years servicing.

I think I will definately do this - to be honest I'm wondering what the catch is!

Cheers.

Edit: This was Saturday (20th Sept) when I was told so yes they do still do this. I was also told that if you sell the car the remainder of the servicing is also transferred so even if you don't keep the car for 5 years if you sell it privately you can make that part of the deal!

You can buy Honda Happiness up to 8 months or 8000 miles after you buy a new car or ex-demonstrator from it's initial registration date.

There's no catch and yes you can sell it on with the car.

Until 1st October it is £500 and not £550. http://www.civinfo.com/forum/buying-...ss-merged.html
