CTR Burning Rubber Smell

I have a 2 week old CTR and done 900 miles. I've noticed that every time i give it a nice big roar up the rev counter, I get a smell of burnt rubber from the back drivers side break area, note there is no wheel spin and i let the engine slow itself down rather than jab the brakes. anyone else getting this?

It's normal mate. I don't think it's your brakes.
My CTR (any many others) makes a burning smell after being thrashed.

You will get a burning smell for a while with a new car as the exhaust burns off any oily coatings that may be on it.

If you are concerned, take it back to the dealer.

As Dimplyred says, its quite a common problem, but if you're concerned, see your dealer.
