Question About Type R Rear Splitter

Just a quickie.
Am i right in thinking that the rear splitter comes in two parts, a colour coded section (1), which holds the black diffuser section (2)??

Or does the diffuser part simply fit into the original type r bumper ??

If you buy the rear splitter you get the whole lower bumper section which is made up of a colour coded part and a black part.

To fit it you need to remove your bumper, and then split the original lower section from the bumper and fit the splitter section.

Have a look here for fitting. http://www.civinfo.com/forum/how/143...splitters.html

Where have you seen just the black part for sale? It's a little unusual that someone has split to two parts. .

Comparing it to mine I'm sure that it is a complete rear splitter for a NHB Type R so it is black on black rather than black on silver for a silver car, if you know what I mean.
