FN2 Tegiwa Induction kit

Simple Question really

Does the front bumper have to be removed to fit the CAF??

I believe some people have done it by removing the passenger side wheel and wheel arch lining. when I did it though I removed the bumper its easy enough to do just seems like a big job till you have done it once or twice

They are a decent bit of kit. Good proven gains, with flat spots removed.

Would you notice a 5bhp gain? Probably minimally, but mapped tegiwa claim up to 12bhp... That's where you'll really notice it

Just fitted didn't notice much but like said above once mapped you could tell the engine benefited from breathing freer. I going for it agin as I thought it was worth it an did see good gains with it plus I really like the look of the scoops in place of the fog lights.

I felt a slight difference when I had mine fitted to my FN2 in stock form, obviously the small gains are harder to notice on the butt dyno. Once mapped they are great!

Kit is on and its working fine

Noise from the kit is defo reduced over standard IMO but the car feels so much freer and less restricted

only downside ive got to remove my fog lights to gewt the kit to work better EG the CAF

Are you saying tegiwa intake kit is quieter than oem intake system ?

Maybe i have wires crossed. I hate loud intakes so this has caught my attention

Its hard to describe really on full throttle it definatley makes a noise but IMO its much quieter than standard and normal driving its no different to standard

after a week with it fitted it maybe because its just had a full service and the placebo effect is still in place but the car feels so much more responsive and definatley quicker

The HKS Variant from a few videos ive seen is very noisy and probably not designed to gain power, but just to make noise, from where its located with no CAF (Dont hold me to this as ive never used one im just assuming)

Its always done the weird oil smell from the day i got it......not after VTEC by the way I understand thats just the Ozone layer being destroyed lol.......it can happen just for no reason just sat at a constant speed it will just randomly stink of oil then vanish.....Took it back to Honda a few times under warranty and they had all the diagnostics and all sorts and they had no idea probably thought i was mad........it doesnt burn oil or smoke so not got a clue

Just letting you know if you didn't already, whilst it no doubt provides some gains. It's far from the best performing induction kit.
