Rust on brake discs. Pet hate! Prevention tips?

I hate when I'm walking over to my car and you give it a quick look over and seeing the rusting starting to develop on the outside of the brake discs.

I've got MTEC dimpled & grooved discs with the black coating. I thought the black coating was to prevent/ hide the rusting but it doesn't look that way.

Any tips?
Or are there specific discs that don't rust at all?

Thanks in advance

Painted the disc? without sounding like an idiot here wouldnt that just come off anyway with the friction of the pads?

You wouldn't paint the entire disk, only the bits that AREN'T swept by the pads...

Folks mainly paint the central bell/hat.

Ive just ordered some MTEC drilled and grooved off the bay with pads for 85, i was contemplating the black ones, but i might give them a lick of paint myself now.
When i was a teenager with a scooter my mate nicked my wd40 to clean his bike, he did the discs too. That was something to watch when he rode off.
