Some questions after installing aftermarked head unit

So, I installed a double din pioneer player. Because the original head unit did not work any more. So my first question is, how do i now change the clock and date on the head screen? And while installing the new player, there was one cable that I could not figure out was for? Look at my attached photo.

Clock can be changed via the steering wheel, had to do mine, it's a long press of one of the buttons to access it (think it's possibly the MODE button, but not 100%)

Dunno what that wire is though

Pff- no sorry!

I can remember seeing a right jumble of wires behind my double din when I fitted my reversing camera, but that we thingy in your pic doesn't ring any bells!

the clock/Day/Date thing is a doddle to sort, it's just a case of finding which button lets you change the settings, but once you know it's peasy!

Haven't come across that cable before.

Have a question: could the red hazard light bulb be accessed easily whilst you were doing this install?

Wouldn't mind a pic to show as I'm looking to replac the blown bulb of the hazards.

Thanks!

Yes, but I do think you need to replace the whole button, not only a bulb...
