Wink Help with wheels FN2 Type R

Hello Guys,

found these nice alloys i was told they are off a EVO 6 and are priced really well.

the specs are the following:

Rim Width: 8.5J
Rim Diameter: 18
Offset: 38
Tyre Width: 245
Aspect Ratio: 40
Number of Studs: 5
Stud Diameter: 114.3

I currently have 19" Rage alloys on at the moment.

Will these alloys fit, or will the rub? just need to know before i go ahead and buy them.

If your car is lowered further than stock, the slightly wide profile tyre may rub ever so slightly on very hard cornering. Offset 40 is a good match for nearly flush to the fender and they're not massively wide

I think they'd be a little bit wide in the arch. Like fitting a 30mm spacer

225 on 8j et40 rubs. 245/40 on 8.5j will rub way more and stick out of fenders. You might get away with 225/40 tyres and alot of camber.

Then your car is just not low enough!
I have -15mm eibachs and 3 sets of wheels.

225/40r18 8j et40 - rubs on hard cornering and big holes
235/35r19 8j et40 rubs on moderate cornering/holes
225/40r18 8j et30 - this one rubs just about all the time. And my wheel arch flares pop out after every drive.

Aren't the 1.8 wheels set slightly further in than the type r anyway?
