Tuning company stickers / logos on cars !

Hey Guys,

Just wondered what people's thoughts were on applying decals etc to cars. Like a tuning companies sticker etc ?

I know it's personal choice but good to get a few people's opinions on the subject ,

See a lot people have logos of companies say in rear side window etc ?

Sticker or not to sticker ?

Or keep totally clean and stealth looking ?

Cheers

It's personal choice at the end of the day. It suits some cars but not others. For instance, I had a fully stickered up Impreza in wrc rally decals which suited that car. My Audi had some revo stickers on the front wings but as a big estate, I don't think it would have looked right with loads. I could well get a couple for the civic. Maybe a mighty car mods 'chopped' hand.

What are you thinking of doing? I didn't really care what anyone else thought though, it looked good to me. You should just do it. You can always remove them afterward if you're not keen.

Cheers for the comments mate, always good to hear other views. I understand it's personal choice. I've seen a few older posts you see of cars that have had say , Bridgestone ? Logos or whatever company and then people commented it looks better removed and clean lines . Just personal choice I know.

A few of us on here with the modded cars prob will keep them logo free, to be more of a sleeper ?

Why advertise on your car with company stickers of parts that you have bought from them? Doesn't make sense to me.

If they paid me to stick them on, there would be no problem.

Exactly my point. Some like them and some don't I've always liked colouring in the wording on the tyres yellow (on Dunlop's) or white (on everything else). Looked great on my escorts and probably the RS200 when it's finished but on the civic? Maybe not. Might do a Photoshop to make sure though. My brother reckons I'm a secret American and like everything to look like a Daytona racer.

I would have thought the more modded a car is, the more likely it is to have a sticker or two. Otherwise it'll look like something that drove through halfords and picked up some alloy look hubcaps and a turbo whistle.

the civicinfo sticker is enough for me, but its your choice mate, put them on and if you do not like them just take them back off, at the moment i am doing a artic camo wrap on my car and have had to change the design several times and wasted a lot of expensive wrap,as it does not seem right to me at the moment, yet my friends say its okay, but its my choice at the end of the day, so whatever your happy with go for that

I've got a couple on the underside of the bonnet applied by the previous owner and a small Pistonheads one on the rear window, they give an extra 10 bhp per sticker and my vtec crossover is brutal.

I have a couple, might be removing the TDi one if they continue to ignore my emails however

More than happy to represent Grinspeed, yes I've probably paid off half his mortgage but the workmanship is top notch for stuff I was either unable to do or didn't have the time to do myself.

On tuned japs I actually don't mind them being stickered up but for me I left the MTEC, MFactory, Hybrid Racing and Skunk2 stickers in the box as they aren't paying me to advertise lol

For me, stickers get put on the toolbox and not the car.

Owners club are exempt from the no-sticker rule, but tuning companies and brand whoring isnt for me.

Yes mate, after the fn2 I had a 335I then a clio 182 cup, this car popped up for sale locally with a good spec so couldn't resist, I've started a build thread in the modifications section but it doesn't really need much.
