Exhaust vibration cold start ?

Not sure if anyone can please help or advise, I have a cat back custom stainless system fitted, just running the 1 rear box at the back, ONLY on cold start I have a vibration possibly coming from the rear ?

I have checked all my exhaust hangers etc, all fine ! And all the heat shields are removed as they were rotten.

Could it be possibly something loose inside the rear silencer ?

I can't see at all that it's touching anywhere etc, to cause a vibration on the body neither ? And why only on cold start up ?

Any help would be most grateful I have to try to source the issue asap .

Thankyou !

A loose bolt on the exhaust system?? (which i would have thought would be there all the time if it was) but maybe once the metal is hot it expands and tightens back up if it waz just slightly untight....or could be the baffle in the rear box but agaiin if it was that I would have thought it would be all thd time not just on startup...but i would cetainly check your hangers aswell as if you had not said youd checked em would have been my fist point of call

Cheers bro, yeah checked all my hangers man, seem ok and like I mentioned pulled off all the shields as they were done ! It literally just has a good old vibrate on start up ! Then chills out and goes ? I can't see that the exhaust is touching anywhere . Stainless is about 8 months old ? Wondering if it's in the rear box ? That's the only box !

You already posted this thread, and I replied to it previously. Check that the exhaust exits aren't close to the inside of the exhaust triangle entries inside the rear bumper.

Garage
as anthropolyte said its more than likely the exhaust tip rattling on the bumper garnish.

Totally clear Guys of those, as I've cut the rears from my garnish , so no where near it , hence I put another post up. Hence annoying me cos I can't find a problem ? I appreciate your advice so thanks. This is why it's hard to find ! All the main culprits I've dealt with or checked ?

Are the exhaust exits central to the Triangles, and not blowing against the bumper. i had this after a custom exhaust was Fitted and i just uprated the mounts on the back box to power flex ones and it reduced dramatically.

Hey mate, cheers for the comment, mine are pretty much in the middle of the triangles so not this. I started it up before whist stood at side of car and you can actually hear the vibration stood at the side of car, I.e pretty last on cold start like 20 seconds then goes ? But need to source the problem as it's pretty in ya face ! Not something I could just put up with and leave.

I would get someone to hold the exhaust at the rear and start the car. if the vibration is less use some Decent exhaust mounts. i used the long universal power flex ones ( number 11s i think ) Just need two mounts for the exits
