New valve arrived from USA today. Great 8 day turnaround for 11 posted. Parts made in Japan also. Will update results later

I'm not sure to be honest. Hasn't been labelled as genuine. But comes with warranty and is made in Japan.

unclip Pipe
unscrew from block
refit new one
reconnect pipe

its that simple

ok guys went to fit my new PCV valve today and the hose clip on the valve is upside down!

Any ideas how to get it off?

If you can get some long nose pliers in there to partially squeeze, you should be able to rotate the clip to get at it more easily

where is this located on the 1.8 2006 civic ?
i looked on the picture on the other page , but that seems to be a different ,engine .
i dont remember mine looking like that .

i got some rattling noise starting from 1500 rpm and up .(most noticeble between 1500-2500 when doing engine brake) Dunno if its the pulleys , the cam chain or just something loose in the engine bay ( least likely ) .
I was quite sure its the pulleys , until i read about this .
