Cool Track Day

Has anyone had experience with a track day? Looking at doing a novice track session at Brands Hatch or Snetterton but thought may ask you guys for your input.

Thanks

Timmy

Timmy

Brands indy is a nice flowing track

Bedford is another good one plus it has nice big run off areas if you get it wrong

There are novice days where an instructor will help you out

Becareful the track bug is adictive

They look a little expensive IMO...especially at the main tracks.

Done the BMW group car, formula ford and Peugeot rally courses at brands hatch.
All well run and great fun.
Even if the brakes had ceased in the formula ford.....thought the brakes felt really heavy LOL....didnt bother with erm after a couple of laps...still got told to slow down

Good value, fun and safe day out.

Check out Honda's on track. Hondas On Track
They often run novice days including Brands, and your on-track with similar minded Honda enthusists all travelling at similar speeds.
Tuition is always available as well including hire of helmets if you haven't got one.

That's exactly why I pointed you in their direction. They do novice days.

Try club MSV (google it). They run various tracks around the country and operate novice track days. I've been to two now, both novice and during both I had instruction from a qualified racing instructor, this was at an extra cost. Total for my day at oulton park was 110 for track day (morning and afternoon) and 25 for each 30 min training session. So I had one in the morning run and one in the afternoon.

Amazing days, and I will be doing lots more!

Also search for local clubs, I found a local track day club near me and it's just a club who hire out part of a private airfield for track days.

Hope this helps
